Event Promotion

To promote your events, contact the Dietrich School communications team for assistance with audience-based targeted marketing. We will discuss your event and ideal audience and create a plan to effectively reach them. Posters are not always the best tool, we encourage paperless or electronic options.  

We can assist with design services which include promotional posters, email blasts, and digital signage. We can also assist with stock images, and will ensure content meets University style guidelines.  

Best Practices

As you are developing content for promotional materials, please keep in mind the following helpful tips:
  • Engage your audience with easy to read  content (small amount of text)
  • Eliminate jargon so that it is understandable to a wider audience
  • Include all relevant details (who, what, when, and where)
  • Include contact information (email and website, etc.)
  • Use University-approved wordmarks
